The Fetes de Bayonne is France’s largest festival, attracting more than a million visitors each year. It all starts on Wednesday night when the festival’s mascot, King Leon, throws the city keys from the town hall balcony, down to the massed crowd below. This kicks off 5 days and nights of non-stop partying.
