Paragon Continues to “Think Pink” in October

The Paragon Network™ raises awareness for breast cancer with their “Think Pink” promotion during the month of October.

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month, which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease. Breast cancer is the second most common type of cancer in women. About one in eight women born today in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer at some point in their life. This disease has become very personal to many of us as we have seen our grandmothers, mothers, sisters, aunts or friends affected.

To raise awareness, participating members of the Paragon Network™ will be handing out various items including “Think Pink” bracelets, pens, and t-shirts. In addition, a portion of their fuel or service revenue will be donated to organizations supporting the prevention and treatment of breast cancer.

“Paragon Aviation Group® and their FBO members have donated thousands of dollars to breast cancer foundations over the last few years,” stated Megan Barnes, EVP of Paragon Aviation Group®. “I am very proud to be associated with this charitable group of independent FBOs. We want to help spread the word that many women can not only survive breast cancer if it’s found and treated early, but also prevent it through self-examinations and regular screenings.”
